Outremer catamarants are sailing all the seas of the globe and are synonymous with great voyages. Outremer Yachting is a shipyard based in La Grande-Motte, France. The company was born in 1984 from the meeting of two sailing enthusiasts. Gérard Danson, an architect, and Daniel Cailloux, a technician, begin their adventure with the construction of a 40-foot catamaran for offshore cruising. Very quickly, Outremer sailboats became a reference in terms of comfort, safety and speed. This excellence is the result of a partnership with the greatest multihull architects, Frédéric Neuman and Christophe Barreau. Thus the Outremer boats regularly win prizes and podiums, starting with the single-handed Transat in 2000. Didier le Villain then comes first with Outremer 45 1st generation. Ten years later, the Outremer 49 was voted European Boat of the Year, and in 2012 rewarded in the United States. All sailors can rely on Outremer catamarans to make their dream come true, whether it's a transatlantic trip or a round the world trip.
