X-Yachts is a Danish shipyard created in 1979 by three enthusiasts: Niels and Lars Jeppesen and Birger Hansen. They devoted themselves with great success to the design and construction of racing and cruising boats. In just a few years, the shipyard managed to find a place among the leaders on the world market for top-of-the-range sailboats that are comfortable, easy to handle and perform well under sail. The design is well recognizable, always efficient and elegant. The podiums and awards are multiplying. In the 1980s, the X-102 and the X-102s thus won several international trophies. In 2009, the XC 45 sailboat was elected best sailboat of the year in Europe and the following year the XC 42 sailboat was rewarded. Since the beginning, more than 6000 sailboats have come out of the workshops and have been marketed all over the world.
