Allures Yachting is a French shipyard renowned for its aluminum bluewater sailboats. It is also the first of the Grand Large Yachting group, founded by two friends looking for the perfect boat for a long family cruise: Xavier Desmarest and Stéphan Constance. The assembly site is located in Cherbourg-en-Cotentin. This beautiful Norman company was born almost 20 years ago and quickly found its place among the leaders in the world of boating. In 2005, the shipyard was rewarded: the Allures 40 was voted Boat of the Year in France. Whether for a coastal outing or a round-the-world sailing trip, Allures always implements all its know-how and experience to satisfy the most demanding sailor. Allures sailboats combine aluminum hull and polyester deck for more performance, comfort, safety and elegance! Three centreboarders perfectly illustrate these characteristics: the Allures 40.9, the Allures 45.9, the Allures 51.9. This success is also the result of a collaboration with the design firm Berret-Racoupeau, based in La Rochelle. Therefore no coincidence that great sailors, such as the Peyron brothers, have chosen Allures. It was on the Allures 44 that they left in 2006 to explore western Greenland and study the consequences of global warming on the Inuit population. For your Allures sailboats, Horizon Sails makes every effort to meet your sail requirements.
