Horizon Sails Storm Jib for furler simply hoists over the top of a furled headsail. The furled headsail doesn’t need to be removed. This sleeve style storm jib goes over your furled jib or genoa. It can be hoisted with the spinnaker halyard or a spare jib halyard. This type of storm jib eliminates unfurling, dropping and stowing the roller furling genoa and provides many additional benefits over a conventional hank-on or luff tape storm jib sail. Hoisting over the roller furled sail results in much better sail shape than a conventional storm jib hanked onto a removable headstay or a partially furled sail and also prevents the rolled genoa from unfurling. The 7m² storm jib is built to withstand the worst of weather conditions. Whether cruising or racing offshore, no boat should be without this essential storm sail for heavy weather sailing. Reliable, efficient and build to suit every sailboat or catamaran, the storm jib is a irreplaceable piece of your safety equipment.
