Traditional handcrafted single or double timber stropped blocks. The shells are constructed from high quality ash timber formed into a smooth oval shape and coated with coats of UV-resistant lacquer. Bindings, heavy gauge stainless steel. The high-strength nylon sheaves run on oversized stainless steel spindles to spread the load and ensure smooth running. Dimensions 230mm. Sheave ø 60mm. Maximum rope diameter ø 12-14 mm.

Horizon Sails wooden blocks combine the warm appeal of old craftsmanship with high-strength and low-friction bearing bindings. Block shells are crafted from Ash, Oak or Iroko which resists splitting and does not dry out. A gloss finish protects the wood from the elements and gives it a deep shine.
